Do you have a physical 'Retail Store or Showroom?'
Yes, our main showroom and store is located at 2,305 Bay Street, Brighton VIC - this is our Operations Centre and VIC showroom. For most of our customers, our super-fast nationwide direct shipping is the best option for all orders. We ship your Macs directly to you from our warehouses nationwide to your door. This is how we are able to offer you the best prices around as we don't have to pass on the costs associated with maintaining a store and showroom to you plus 99% of our customers would have no benefit of a showroom as they are scattered far and wide in every single part of the country. If you're local, you're very welcome to drop in any time or to pick up in VIC or NSW, but please use the website to make your order first and we'll ship to us here first instead of you direct. Orders placed online are actioned immediately - there is no need to call unless you feel you need to speak to a human!

What are your Opening Times?
Our Melbourne offices are generally always open at 9.30am through until 5.30pm weekdays, excluding Victorian Public Holidays. This can be variable - (many days we're open much earlier and stay open much later depending on what we're doing for our customers). We will strive to open by arrangement if usual hours are inconvenient for you. We are always available by phone and our website and order processing are live 24/7-  Sales / Support is available on 1300 03 6227 and is directly with us and answered / available 24/7 by our tech support team.

How are your Macs so cheap and do your prices include GST?
As above, ZeroThree operate a highly skilled, highly efficient, low-cost business with no shopfront or showroom. Our order methods are based on JIT (Just-In-Time) ordering as per Apple themselves. As a result, by using the latest technology here from Apple and customised sales and support systems perfected over the last decade, we are able to pass on huge savings to you and do not need to pass on the cost of holding floor stock and other costs associated with showrooms. All prices at ZeroThree include everything. We operate a 'no silly surprises' policy here, so what you see on our website, is exactly what you get. Seriously.

Why do you add GST at checkout?
We don't! All of our prices are as advertised and INCLUDE GST. At checkout, your summary and invoice simply show the GST 'content' of your total order.. it is not added again.

If you don't carry stock in your office, can I still pick up?
Absolutely. We have warehouses in most major cities across the country so although we usuall ship direct to you from our closest warehouse with stock, if you live in Melbourne, you are welcome to come and pick up in Brighton, but please order your Mac on-line first or give us a call as we still need to ship your Mac to us instead of you direct. As soon as its ready for you to collect, we'll call.

Are your Macs new?
Yes, all of our Macs are brand new and come with everything as per the Apple Website. We are an Authorised Apple Platinum Reseller and as such are listed on the Apple.com/au website store locator. All of our Macs are the latest, current release as per the Apple website. We do not sell refurb or run-outs on the zerothree.com.au website. As soon as a new model is released, the previous model is instantly removed from our website - You can check us out by Clicking Here using 3186 as a postcode.

I have found a Mac cheaper elsewhere but would like to buy from you...
Thanks and we would like you to also. On a serious note here, we only sell the very newest of any product available. We also only use premium RAM to upgrade our Macs. We do not sell refurbs and all of our Macs are the very newest release. As we are on the top tier of the industry, if a product changes today, that change will be reflected on our website immediately. This applies to all Macs, all Mac products and all mainstream Adobe and Microsoft Software. 99 times out of 100, if you find a cheaper product it will not be like-for-like - we find this all the time (and we do NOT class our free life time tech support with every Mac sold as a silly excuse to say 'sorry, not like-for-like')...As we do not carry large stocks at all, when a product is updated, you'll get the newest. Please therefore be very careful that you are not buying a super seeded or ex-demo or refurb product when comparing to ours. Please also be aware that if you are financing your Mac, often we find that you are given a cheaper 'cash' price.. sometimes even below cost that is unbeatable by anyone -it seems... then we find out that huge additional costs have been hidden in your finance.. so please check that first. - Call if you're unsure. We don't do the hard sell here... we leave that choice to you, but we will give you honest, clear advice.

The short answer then is, if you find the same product, brand new, in stock and not as part of an education, government or other special pricing promo and it is advertised clearly for us to see, then we'll match or even beat it if we can subject to our price match conditions. 

What RAM do you use?
We use either Kingston Premium RAM or Apple Factory RAM. In our long experience, there is no point in compromising on RAM quality and as such provide only the best RAM in our Macs. Please always bare this in mind if you are comparing prices. Kingston Premium RAM is not that much more expensive than generic RAM, but in terms of consistency, warranty, performance and it's approved use by Apple in Mac's, there really is no question. Any RAM upgrades at ZeroThree carry Kingston Premium or Apple Factory - this includes MacPro where choosing the best RAM is imperative. Again, we use only the very best 'KTA-MP' FB ECC RAM or Apple Facotry brands that will keep your Mac withtin temperature tolerance ranges on the memory riser boards, will not invalidate your warranty (cheaper 3rd party RAM in MacPro will cost you a fortune if anything ever goes wrong). And what's more, each module carries a lifetime warranty.

What about Hard Drives ?
Most hard drive upgrades are performed at Apple so carry the standard 1 year warranty. However, we offer lots of additional premium drive upgrades for your Macs including the very latest SSD (Solid State Drives). These drives generally carry either an additional 1, 2 or 3 year warranty and are covered directly by us and the drive manufacturer. If anything happens to your Mac for example and you receive a brand new or repaired Apple warranty replacement, we will extract your hard drive and install it in your new Mac so it is exactly as it was. 

Do you hire Macs?
Yes we do. We are continually increasing our hire stock from only professional high-end creative kits down to basic iMacs, MacBook and MacBook Pro's. So please check with us or check the hire section of the website on the front page left hand side under 'Other Sections', or at the top of the page under Mac Hire.

Do you hire Audio Visual Products
Yes we do. We currently have basic DV right through the XD-CAM Broadcast equipment on hire. You can check our hire stock in the AV Hire section available at the top menu on every page and the left menu also on the Homepage.

Do you repair Macs?
If you bought your Mac from us and it's in warranty, you are welcome to bring it to us as a lot of the time we can fix it for you quickly and easily. If you didn't buy your Mac from us and its in warranty, you should take it to your nearest Apple Service Centre (ASC) all listed on the Apple.com/au website store locator. All Macs carry a global warranty, so if you're in warranty, you can take your Mac to any Authorised ASC. If your Mac is not in warranty, then by all means bring it to us for a fast, professional fix.

Do you do Educational Discounts?
The Zerothree Education Store offers sitewide special pricing on ALL relevant products held here. In order to qualify for Education pricing, first of all you need to Create an Account on our Website.

You can then immediately contact us letting us know the email address you used to create your account. At any time or email a scan/copy of your student I.D to education@03.com.au or call 1300 03 6227.

Once authorised (usually takes about 5 minutes) you may then log into the Zerothree website and all pricing will change specifically for you - LIVE and across ALL relevant products and in real-time saving you on your entire purchase here at Zerothree. Please note, additional discounting on specials will not apply.


What warranties do your Macs carry?
As per any Authorised Apple Reseller, or Apple direct, all Macs come with a 1 year warranty against hardware failure or any known issues- this is a global warranty. This is extendable to 3 years with AppleCare. However, we also bundle in life time phone tech support that puts you directly in touch with us here in or out of hours - we can pretty much always fix your problem over the phone, or by logging into your Mac remotely, and if not, advise you on exactly what to do.

How fast will I get my Mac?
If your Mac is in stock and your order is placed on our website by 11am and you're in a metro area or picking up - usually same day or 1 day. In other cases it really depends on exactly where you live and how reliable couriers are in your area.

Do you deliver Nationwide?
Yes! We have warehouses nationwide and generally ship from the closest to you. We also ship to super-remote outback areas and all Australian states and even run a charter light-aircraft delivery service if required.

How much is shipping?
Our basic shipping is free and included but we suggest taking insured shipping due to the increased costs of shipping and increased 'accident' rates. Other options are available on checkout - these include the option for basic insurance at $18 (always recommended) and AusPost or TNT Express Services - insured. In the case of TNT and AusPost, cost depends on location and weight.

Do you offer on-site service / call outs or install?
Yes. Our rates are $155 + GST / Hour minimum charge 1 hour (which includes call out) and is available in Metro Melbourne only. Outside of Melbourne is negotiable.

Do you offer training?
Yes, we offer training in all areas either at our office or on-site. 

Do you charge any Credit Card Fees?
Sadly yes. This is not our choice. We are charged 1.6% on VISA and Mastercard just to be able to take them, and 3.5% on Diners. PayPal transactions are also taken with a surcharge of 2.65%. We have to pass these on as our prices are so low and we simply cannot absorb that cost - we always prefer Direct Deposit as there are no fees and it's easy and fast. All payment options are clearly laid out at checkout.
